Dutch Bros. has an immediate opening for an experienced real estate attorney who will draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases and other real estate-related documents. Draft, review and negotiate commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, CC&R documents, declarations, access agreements, easement agreements, and related documents for development.
Draft, review and negotiate construction documents including master service agreements, construction contracts, statements of work, lien releases, and related document for the construction process.
Work closely with site selection staff to ensure agreements reflect business goals, while simultaneously protecting the company’s financial/legal interest, and serve as liaison with real estate department with respect to all leasing matters such as letters of intent, leases, amendments, letter agreements, and interpretation of leases.
Provide sound advice regarding negotiation strategy and deal structure.
Collaborate with other core functions (e.g., Accounting, Tax, Lease Administration) in a results-oriented environment.
Contribute to a collective effort to improve the company’s preparation, review, negotiation, and processing of transactions.
Handle day-to-day legal matters for company's real estate portfolio.
Review due diligence including title, survey, zoning, and entitlements for leases, acquisitions and financing.
Direct the company’s outside legal counsel on real estate and construction matters.
Law degree and 5+ years of transactional real estate legal experience.
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases and other real estate-related documents.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; impeccable attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize work and respond to multiple demands while meeting time sensitive deadlines.
