Position Overview: 

This role is responsible for producing graphic art and visual materials for promotions, ads, packaging, and informative or instructional material.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

Fulfill all franchisee and internal HQ design requests that accurately align with the DB brand and are completed within their designated timeline:

  • Develop engaging, creative, comprehensive visual content for a wide range of  initiatives.
  • Ensure continuity and consistent visual branding for all marketing materials and activities
  • Create and update collateral, brochures, product sheets, fact sheets, retail and trade show signage graphics, advertising and sales tools
  • Creates multiple design solutions for any given campaign brief.
  • Designs website page comps for digital team and helps to communicate desired functionality to internal and external developers.
  • Creates promotional materials for all mediums, printed and digital to include by not limited to posters, brochures, presentations, and other artwork as requested via brand style guide
  • Supports day-to-day graphic design projects as needed.
  • Assists as needed in the creation of presentations and materials for sales and management meetings.
  • Organizes and manages graphics, photos and design asset databases in a well-structured, clearly defined manner on internal and external systems.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout to senior designer and/or Design Director
  • Participating in various design projects from concept to completion
  • Producing drafts, prototypes and engaging design solutions
  • Produce innovative designs with an eye on industry trends, and ability to filter them to fit the company's brand
  • Manage multiple projects and efficiently work in multiple mediums
  • Prepares graphic concepts, rough sketches or illustrations, and proofs for logos, patches, displays, view-graphs, and other documents involving graphic design.
  • Create original artwork, including illustration and photo manipulation, to appear on company products
  • Will receive work assignments based on current campaign plans
  • Verbally presents graphic ideas and details with clarity in small groups and team meetings.
  • Ensure proper delivery of graphic artwork to development team (all relevant information needed for development process such as original artwork, color indication, execution information, artwork sizes, etc.)

Continually develop graphic design knowledge and skills while constructively pushing creative boundaries with culture in mind:

  • Plans concept by studying information and materials.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Collaborate with fellow design team members in brainstorm/ideation sessions

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting up to ten lbs. 
  • Must be able to work in a climate controlled, office environment 
  • Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties
  • Hearing must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties
  • Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks

Job Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • 4 years related experience (college, jobs, internships)
  • Desired skill set: Vector illustration, hand lettering/typography, traditional illustration, apparel design experience, ux/ui design


  • Creativity
  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Creative illustrator able to create graphics and specialty logos
  • Understanding of brand guidelines and how to translate to print and digital design
  • Understanding of marketing campaigns and how-to tailor ads to developed personas
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a small group setting
  • Willingness to manage all projects through Project Management Software
  • Strong project management and time management
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Mastery of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
