Position Overview:

This role is responsible for producing graphic art and visual materials for promotions, ads, packaging, and informative or instructional material.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

Fulfill all franchisee and internal HQ design requests that accurately align with the DB brand and are completed within their designated timeline:

  • Develop engaging, creative, comprehensive visual content for a wide range of initiatives.
  • Ensure continuity and consistent visual branding for all marketing materials and activities
  • Creates promotional materials for all mediums, printed and digital to include by not limited to posters, brochures, presentations, and other artwork as requested via brand style guide
  • Supports day-to-day graphic design projects as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects and efficiently work in multiple mediums
  • Will receive work assignments based on current campaign plans
  • Proficient in layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size and style.
  • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout to senior designer and/or Design Director

Continually develop graphic design knowledge and skills while constructively pushing creative boundaries with culture in mind:

  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications

Bring a positive attitude that is uplifting and supportive to the team and environment:

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Collaborate with fellow design team members in brainstorm/ideation sessions
  • Respond to daily/weekly tasks and goals in a timely fashion.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting up to ten lbs. 
  • Must be able to work in a climate controlled, office environment 
  • Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties
  • Hearing must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties
  • Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks

Job Qualifications: 

  • Ability work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects at a time

  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle constructive criticism
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual 
  • Ability to create quickly and efficiently
  • Strong eye for design, layout and composition
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Two years of related experience (school, internships, jobs)
  • Desired skill sets: vector illustration, traditional illustration, color theory knowledge, understanding principles of design, love for typography


  • Creativity
  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Creative illustrator able to create graphics and specialty logos
  • Understanding of brand guidelines and how to translate to print and digital design
  • Understanding of marketing campaigns and how-to tailor ads to developed personas
  • Attention to detail
  • Mastery of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Ability to work independently and in a small group setting
  • Willingness to manage all projects through Project Management Software
  • Strong project management and time management
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
