This position supports the Real Estate Legal function.

Create and maintain tracking tool to ensure real estate legal due diligence tasks are performed prior to end of due diligence period:

  • Track lease status.
  • Track due diligence status.

Assist legal representatives with reviewing and analyzing due diligence materials:

  • Title review.
  • Survey review.
  • Run out and analyze legal descriptions.

Manage legal real estate aspects of complex projects:

  • Review and negotiate SNDAs and estoppel certificates.
  • Draft correspondence.
  • Review phase I environmental assessments.
  • Coordinate work loads of outside counsel.
  • Manage complex projects.
  • Review franchisee's leases for compliance with Franchise Agreement.
  • Prepare lease review checklists.
  • Manage execution and distribution of contracts.
  • Assist with development of internal processes.

Qualifications Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, BA/BS or Paralegal Certificate preferred. 
  • 5-7 years of applicable experience required

Competencies Required:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of real estate law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Collaborative, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attentive to details
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Mail. 
  • Preferred competencies: experience with Lucernex, SpringCM, and Net Deed Plottert
